Hi! My name is Andrew Figueroa C.P.T.

My wife elise and i are both certified professional trainers.
 

I would like to thank my mom and dad for raising me in a house full of dogs my whole life. Lots of fun! Their consistent pack of four to six dogs was great. Growing up I got to observe and learn pack behavior and dog body language. I really got into training when I needed to do some physical therapy for an injury. I started walking dogs at a local shelter to help. I then became part of a program called STAR (Socialization Training for Adoption Readiness) at the shelter. From there I went to National K9 School for Dog Trainers. I have been running my own business since 2011, doing custom training, private lessons, and teaching classes. 

Woof Training believes in creating a positive and strong relationship between human and dog. In my experience, I have found that relationships become strongest when maximum physical praise is given as a reward. It is this relationship that creates a reliable training foundation. With the relationship established, focus can be moved to creating clear and effective communication, and establishing a reliable respect level.
